A Workshop, Not An Agency

Heavy-duty websites,
built by hand,
for shops with something to show.

We are not a "creative agency." We are a four-person workshop. We write the code, we shoot the photographs, we set the type, and we print the documentation. If you run a business where the work itself is the product — manufacturing, restoration, fabrication, fine craft — we build the website that finally does it justice.

The Four Pillars

How a Workmen site is different from everything else.

Most websites are assembled. A Workmen site is built.

01

Written by hand

No theme builders. No drag-and-drop "platforms." Every line of HTML is written by a human who knows what it does and why it is there.

02

Photographed properly

We bring a real camera and a real lighting kit. If your shop floor or finished work is the product, it deserves better than a phone shot.

03

Hosted to outlast us

Static HTML on Cloudflare's global network. No database to corrupt, no plugin to break, no dashboard to forget. Should still run in 2040.

04

Documented for who comes next

Every site we hand over comes with a printed binder — exactly how to update what, where the files live, who hosts what. So you are not stuck with us.

Who Hires Us

Businesses where the work itself is the product.

Most of our customers have something to show. A 40-year-old metal shop. A father-and-son leather operation. A restoration shop with a waiting list.

They have a story that is hard to tell in five-stock-photo wireframes. We sit in their shop, talk to their craftsmen, and bring back the photos and words that make their site finally feel like them.

Manufacturers

Capability brochures, spec sheets, RFQ forms. Built for buyers who skim, not browse.

Restoration & Repair

Before / after galleries, service area maps, the human story behind the work.

Custom Fabrication

Portfolio-led sites. Big photography, big margins, big quotes.

Maker Studios

For furniture builders, blacksmiths, leatherworkers, ceramicists — quiet sites that let the work speak.

The Method

A site takes six weeks. Then it lasts ten years.

  1. I

    The Visit

We come to your shop. Two days. Take photos, watch the work, write down what makes you different.

  2. II

    The Draft

A first build goes up at a private URL within three weeks. You read, mark up, send it back.

  3. III

    The Handover

Final site goes live. We hand you a printed binder of every login, every file, every "how to update X" instruction.

"They came to the shop. Spent two days here. The photos they took of my dad welding are going to outlast both of us. We have had three customers say they came in because of the website."

We take on five projects a year.

That is our cap. Five clients, five proper builds, twelve months. If your project sounds like a fit, tell us a little about it and we will let you know whether the slot is open.
